The Role
We're looking for a Security Operations Engineer to join our growing team and help protect our corporate and cloud infrastructure.
You'll be the backbone of our SOC, monitoring threats in real-time, hunting for vulnerabilities, and ensuring our customers' data stays secure.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day
- Monitor and optimize our SIEM platform to detect security threats in real-time
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with speed and precision
- Perform threat hunting and proactive threat analysis across our GCP infrastructure
- Support security automation and incident response workflows
- Create and fine-tune detection rules based on emerging threats
- Conduct security assessments, audits and validate detection capabilities
- Analyze cloud logs (Cloud Audit Logs, VPC Flow Logs, Cloud SCC)
- Collaborate with engineering teams on security improvements
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in SOC\IT security operations, SIEM administration, or security operations
- Strong SIEM expertise (Splunk, Logz,io, or similar platforms)
- GCP cloud security knowledge (Cloud Audit Logs, Cloud SCC, VPC security) or IT security operations (EDR, DLP, MDM)
- Understanding of attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation
- Knowledge of CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud security
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Nice to Have
- Security certifications (CEH, GCIH, CompTIA Security+, Google Cloud Security Engineer)
- Penetration testing or security research experience
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science
